This restaurant has no branches. Ensure you reach the correct destination. The restaurant is near Shankar Mutt, Ranga Rao Road, Shankarapura, Bengaluru – 560004.

Stand and Dine

The restaurant is small. There are no chairs or tables for you to sit and eat. You will have to hold the idly plate and eat. There is space inside the restaurant to stand and eat but you will find most of them stand out.

Car Parking is Troublesome

You may face parking issues as the Brahmin’s Coffee Bar is in the residential area. I managed to find a safe place to park my motorcycle. However, I noticed people struggling to find space to park their cars.

The Brahmins Coffee Bar History

Here is a bit of restaurant history for the curious minds.

On 27th Jan 1965, husband and wife K V Nagesh Rao and K N Saraswati started the Brahmin’s Coffee Bar. They started the restaurant with just tea, coffee, and few bakery items. And in 1971, they added few authentic South Indian dishes to the menu. There was no change to the menu since then.

Popular Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is regular to this restaurant whenever she is in Bengaluru. Chief Minister of Karnataka Yediyurappa and Home Minister Amit Shah has ordered food from Brahmin’s Coffee Bar.
