Momoz Restaurant

One of the Google reviewers stated the “Momos are big and tastier” at Momoz restaurant. But we missed ordering Momos, instead, we ordered Chicken Butter Garlic Noodles, Chicken Chilly Wings, and Chilli Chicken Gravy.

Momoz is a medium-size Chinese restaurant at Nehru Road (Kammanahalli). It is a cool place to hang out with family and friends to experience Chinese cuisine at an affordable price. You can order from here via Swiggy or Zomato App and take advantage of discounts and offers.

My favorite at this restaurant is the Chicken Butter Garlic Noodles (Rs. 160). But I wonder how the Chinese restaurants manage to pack so much for whatever they charge. If you are a normal eater, this is going to be too much.

The chef here knows the Indian taste buds better. Whatever ingredients that went into its preparation seem to be in excess, including chicken, egg, and oil. It was good and you can try it once here.

With the Chilli Chicken Wings, the chef has been too generous to us with tablespoons of cooking oil. Check out the image, all that is glittering and liquidy is something you will not appreciate. Well,  I don’t suggest this one to you at Momoz.

Look at the Chilli Chicken Gravy, isn’t it too thick? What do you think it is? Too much flour?

The Momoz restaurant can be worth a try if you want to satisfy that Chinese food craving at an affordable price. But if you are diet conscious, you wouldn’t approve of too much oil and frying.

But there are more options like Beijing Bites, a popular Chinese restaurant a few blocks away. It costs approximately 30% more than Momoz. It’s not that Beijing Bites doesn’t spill oil on the frying pan but the end product doesn’t look so scary.

Or you can shift to Indian cuisine, there’s a hell of a lot of options like the idly-chutney which is oil-free.
